active shooter basic course
This comprehensive three-day course features classroom instruction on the history of active shooter incidents, as well as the core concepts and philosophy guiding active shooter response. Participants receive training in modern CQB (Close Quarters Battle) tactics and techniques, tailored for both individual officer (“singleton”) engagements and coordinated responses with teams of up to four officers. These skills are reinforced through practical application exercises and validated in realistic force-on-force scenarios derived from actual active shooter events.

The three-day Dynamic Course is the next progression beyond our Basic Course, designed to reinforce and expand upon previously taught concepts, tactics, and techniques. Throughout this training, participants will review and strengthen their foundational skills while being introduced to advanced elements such as crisis site management, post-assault procedures, communication and link-up protocols, casualty care, and incident management. These skills are further developed through hands-on practical application and ultimately validated in realistic force-on-force scenarios, ensuring participants gain both confidence and operational readiness.

Beginner Pistol
This introductory eight-hour course is designed for individuals with little to no formal experience in modern handgun techniques. Training begins with a focus on firearm safety and basic familiarization with both semi-automatic pistols and revolvers. Participants will then progress through essential skills including loading and unloading procedures, the fundamentals of marksmanship, and practical live-fire exercises. By the end of the course, students will have a solid foundation in safe handling and effective use of handguns.

Advanced Pistol
This eight-hour course serves as a continuation of the Basic Class, designed to build upon and advance the foundational skills previously developed. Students will refine their marksmanship by engaging targets at increased distances, incorporating speed while maintaining accuracy, and executing reloading drills under pressure. Training also emphasizes strong- and support-hand shooting techniques, ensuring participants gain greater proficiency, confidence, and adaptability in a variety of shooting scenarios.

Combat Pistol
This eight-hour course builds upon the skills and techniques developed through formal basic and advanced pistol training. Emphasis is placed on speed, weapon manipulation, engaging targets at varying distances, multiple target engagements, and utilizing cover effectively. All drills are conducted from the holster and under time constraints to replicate real-world pressures. Students should expect to be challenged, as the course is designed to test their abilities and push them to their operational limits.

Beginner Carbine
This eight-hour live-fire course is designed to develop a strong foundation in essential rifle skills. Training includes proper rifle setup, fundamentals of marksmanship, weapon manipulation, and malfunction clearance. Students will also be introduced to alternate shooting positions and engaging multiple targets. By the end of the course, participants will have the confidence and competence needed to safely and effectively employ the rifle in a variety of situations.n.

Advanced Carbine
This eight-hour live-fire course serves as the next progression beyond the Rifle Fundamentals Class, building upon and advancing the foundational skills previously developed. Students will focus on increasing speed while maintaining accuracy, engaging targets while on the move, utilizing cover effectively, and conducting seamless rifle-to-pistol transitions. The course is designed to enhance adaptability and proficiency in dynamic shooting environments.
